María Canales was born in Zaragoza, in 1978. She received the Telecommunication Engineering degree from the University of Zaragoza, Spain, in 2001. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor, in the Electronic Engineering and Communications Department. She currently works in several research projects related to 3G Mobile Communications and Wireless Ad-Hoc Networks.
